We are a child friendy pub, bar, and restaurant, so please feel free to bring your little ones along. They will love our dedicated children’s menu and you’ll have absolutely no problem getting them to clear their plates!

With its oak, ash, maple, and wet valley alders, the ancient Otterbourne Park Wood is a great spot for walking and relaxing in the fresh air.

Keeping Busy in Otterbourne
The Itchen Walk is a 30-mile walk following the River Itchen along beautiful stretches of chalk river, passing through historic Windsor. Within a 15-minute walk of the Itchen Way, The Old Forge is the ideal mid-walk stopping point.
Further afield in Winchester, you’ll find the historic Winchester Cathedral, Marwell Zoo, Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, Winchester Castle, and the Winchester Science Centre & Planetarium.
There are also plenty of family friendly activities in the area, including Hensting Alpaca Walking Experience, Go Ape Itchen Valley, Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway, Lakeside Country Park, and The Winchester Treasure Trail.
